Anna Maria...deserted him when the children were small, the olest about 14, and Sam. had to do the best he could with them. The oldest Frank, lived with Llewellyn Spurr for two years. William lived with John Brawn about 10 years, Marcus lived with Rev. Joseph Loring for several years.
