Buxton ME; 1831 moved to Industry ME, settling on a farm on the south
side of Bannock Hill; in 1863 sold farm and moved to Gardiner ME; a
year later Bryce and his wife went of live with their son, Luther, in
Madison ME. Bryce Smith Edwards was a strong temperance advocate, being a member of a secret club for the suppression of the liquor traffic. He was the first member of the Whig party in Industry, Me. As an advocate of anti-slavery, he was active in the "underground railway" for fugitive slaves. Other Info:
